Dynamic Solutions began as a result of an audiophile’s passionate quest for better sound.

Not satisfied with any of
the commercially available products of the time, Rick Paap, while simultaneously attending school and working as
a productmanager at a premier high-end distributor in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, chose to build his own loudspeaker and electronics
which would not suffer from the compromises he found marked high-end products of the day.
In his experience, having had the ability to audition ALL of the top designs of either genre, tube electronics were consistently the most satisfying
means of achieving audio nirvana. However, the existing crop of tube designs had their own idiosyncrasies and weaknesses,
thus giving Rick the motivation to try and build something better.

Classic tube designs were known for their warm,
liquid midrange but at the cost of tight bass and rolled-off, ill-defined, frequency extremes. Rick’ goal was to build upon
these strengths, while making improvements in the areas where they were traditionally weak.
The first step in achieving
the best sound was to use the best parts and components possible.

It was during the ensuing difficult search for these parts for his preamplifier project needs, that Rick discovered
a sound business opportunity — that being the audiophile electronic parts supply business, which could support a growing
international base of high-end audio hobbyists, constructors and enthusiasts who needed a comprehensive catalogue of high
quality electronic parts for their scratch build, do-it-yourself (DIY), and upgrade modification projects.
Until that time, there was no single source for the highest quality “audiophile and military grade” tubes, capacitors,
resistors, wire, solder and many other types of component parts needed to achieve the highest level of sonic
performance from “home brew” projects and modifiable hi-fi equipment. For these type of audiophiles, this was
performance that was a means to achieve something which was both more affordable and more satisfying than what could be
had through purchasing ready-built high-end retail brands.
